What is HWRN?

Adopted as a program for “Supporting Positive Activities for Female Researchers”

For fostering female research leaders who can act regionally and distribute their accomplishments globally

Kanazawa University’s project proposal “Establishment of the Hokuriku Women Researchers’ Network” was adopted as a subsidy program of “Supporting Positive Activities for Female Researchers” project governed by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology in 2013.
We will establish the Hokuriku Women Researchers’ Network (HWRN), consists of higher education institutions, public laboratories and companies, and support the efforts of female researchers throughout the network. Thus, we aim to bring the local communities together to foster fostering “female research leaders who can act locally and transmit their accomplishments globally”, and contribute to the revitalization of research in the Hokuriku region. We welcome your participation in supporting the network.
